Hello family and friends!
We did it! Ethan and the rest of his class participated in the inaugural 2016 Garden Oaks Montessori Fun Run this morning. They started at about 9 am and worked hard, completing lap after lap after lap. Many rosy cheeks later, Ethan accomplished 9 laps totaling roughly 1.35 miles (each lap was about .15 miles). He and his classmates had fun… so much so that Ethan was bummed he had to go back to class, of course. All of the kids, ranging in age from 4-6 years old, should be very tired.
Thank you again for your generous contributions toward Ethan’s school and their very first Fun Run. Together we were able to donate over $13k! to the school. A fantastic accomplishment.
